KOROBO BEAD

Korobo beads are traditional adornments from Ghana, crafted by the Korobo people in the Korobo Mountains. These handcrafted beads are made from a variety of materials including stones, powdered glass, and cowrie shells. Their unique beauty and craftsmanship make them ideal for creating distinctive bracelets and necklaces. Korobo bead wearers are often seen as embodying wealth and success, with the beads serving as a symbol of royalty. These beads also hold protective power, guarding against the evil eye. They are traditionally worn during important cultural events, further highlighting their significance and connection to heritage. The Korobo people are a large ethnic group in Ghana. They are one of the Dangme ethnic groups of Southeastern Ghana. Odumase is an important town to the Korobo people and others, such as Sra, Kpong. and Akuse. The Korobo district is surrounded by mountains. We encourage you to read about Korobo people and their beads. You will enjoy their history. Thank you for your support and patronage.
