Global Health and Education Alliance Corporation
GHEA is a not for profit, tax-exempt corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable, educational, philanthropic, and humanitarian purposes, sponsoring and participating in medical and educational missions on a local, national, and international scale. These missions will serve as a catalyst for the establishment of rural health centers under the auspices of an associated college of health sciences, which will enable this corporation to educate local residents, and prepare them to partner with the team that will be administering healthcare in their communities. Also, the Corporation will provide assistance in various forms, including, but not limited to, medical equipment, human resources and academic scholarships, while respecting the spiritual and cultural beliefs of each community.
Our Mission
There are many places in the world where basic medical care and education is inaccessible. In those areas, services such as, simple wound care, preventative medical check-ups, and routine immunizations often require long distance travel and costs that are impossible to meet. Medical and educational missions have helped to address the needs of people in impoverished and remote areas, but the missions are temporary.
Meeting the long-term needs of this population requires a permanent element, a brick and mortar location with permanent staff providing year-round care and education. Basic medical care and education is a human necessity, and with the power of your donations we can make a real, tangible difference in the lives of tens of thousands of people locally, nationally, and internationally. We appreciate your patronage!
Our Objectives
The Global Health and Education Alliance(GHEA) sponsors and participates in medical and educational missions on an international scale. These mission will serves as a catalyst for establishments of rural health centers, under the auspices of an associated college of health science. This collaboration will enable us to educate local residents, and prepare to partner with the team which will actually administer healthcare in their communities.
We will fully support all medical facilities that have already been established, GHEA stands prepared to provide assistance in various forms, including medical equipment, human resources and academic scholarships, while respecting the spiritual beliefs and culture of each community
GHEA will particpate in the development of hospitals, educational institutions and libraries as we increase public awareness regarding children's immunization programs. GHEA will particpate in disaster relief efforts around the world. We will play a significant role in charity and humanitarian projects, and ultimately, establish an online university which offers degree programs.
